It has been almost three years since the US actor and comedian Kevin Hart destroyed his Plymouth Barracuda (built in 2019) in an accident in September 1970. He injured himself badly at the time, but drove the car not. Because Hart's driver was Jared Black, who was simply too fast with the tuned classic with over 700 hp and caused the crash. But the topic is over and since then, among other things, Hart's garage has featured the SpeedKore Hellraiser Dodge Charger and also one 1977 Ford Bronco restomod he called his own until a few months ago. However, he sold the latter. And now something new is coming. And one 1969 Plymouth Road Runner as a Restomod with insane 953 PS (701 kW) from a 426 cubic inch (6,98 liters) Supercharged V8. The vehicle was built by the tuner Salvaggio design and it's inspired by the Halloween film series starring Michael Myers.

Hart's Road Runner stands on a custom built frame and has countless new parts in the Vehicle floor installed, a new one splash guard wall, modified radiator mountsNew wheel arch linings and one changed trunk. The unique piece has one for this X-Gen 595 front suspension by Detroit Speed & Engineering, which is integrated into the chassis.
But the most important thing is of course under the hood. Tuner Salvaggio positions the built-in V8 Chrysler Hemi engine somewhere between the Demon and Hellephant Crate engines in terms of performance. The engine was completely rebuilt and got a new one crankshaftNew Piston, better pleuel, a modified one Camshaft and revised cylinder heads. But the highlight is clearly the Whipple 3,8 liter supercharged in satin orange candy paint, which is positioned like a crown on the engine and measured on the test bench 953 PS (940 HP) generated.
Tremec 6060 six-speed manual gearbox
The mighty V8 engine is coupled to a reinforced one Six-speed manual of the type Tremec 6060 and the driven one rear axle has a gear ratio of 3,70. Visually, you can hardly see the brutal performance of the classic. It essentially retains the look of the original, but has countless details on the bodywork.
Because basically only the roof, the doors, the fenders and the rear side panels were taken over from the donor car. But if you are not familiar with it, you will certainly not see it immediately. The most striking detail is probably the Carbon fiber hood with air scoop be in the middle, with style elements from the A12 Racing Pack of the Road Runner is equipped. And the flush integrated bumper are also made of carbon. It continues with a three-part radiator grill, new ones mounts for the halo LED taillights, "one" changed side mirror and special Door handles. All of these components are machined from billet aluminum.
HRE forged wheels on the 1969 Plymouth Road Runner
The classic also rolls on three-piece HRE forged wheels (18×10 inch front & 20×12 inch rear), with beautiful 60's style billet aluminum hub caps and Michelin Reifen. There is one behind it Brembo brakes with six-piston calipers and 14-inch (approx. 36 cm) large brake discs at the front and four-piston calipers with 13-inch (approx. 33 cm) discs at the rear. And then there would be this Gabe's Custom Interior. Of course, this is no longer a series either. Installed is a massive integrated Roll cage, there was a billet aluminum billboard with Dakota DigitalInstruments, a new Steering wheel, a new shift knob and everything is lined with black italian Manager in combination with a few accents in orange. Incidentally, Hart got a specially made one to match the car Pair of Nike Air Max 90 sneakers, a Belts and wallet to. The shoes even have carbon parts and aluminum Road Runner badges.
