When the Russians try to build a VW Golf, the Lada comes Priory of the Russian automaker AvtoVAZ get out! While you hardly know the family carriage for less than € 10.000 in Germany, it can be seen extremely often in Russia, next to the Kalina. Visually from the front a little Mitsubishi Lancer (CS0 - generation 7) for poor and at the rear something Opel Vectra B, especially the interior with the hard plastic deserts, the cheap fabrics, partly bare screws and a central locking system that is so loud that you can probably still hear it in the Kremel, a disaster. ESP? Unavailable! SECTION? Just like that ... And the engine? With 98 HP it is even something like lively. At least what! In the tuning scene, the Priora 2170 (was built from March 2007 to 2018) but practically nonexistent.

At least not in such a way that the vehicles can be described as having “proper tuning”. But now this copy comes from the Russian tuner Wideworx who specialize in a widebody kit for spaxing on almost every car. And so it comes as no surprise that the tuner's Instagram page also includes converted Lada Niva's, extremely widened Opel Corsa's and even that Viburnum with thick cheeks. But one of the most extensive projects is this gray Priora, which would have somehow fit into the DTM of the 90s. But it is actually based on the 2009 WTCC version of the Priora. And the body kit doesn’t even look bad and a little bit too small you might think there’s an Opel Omega Lotus from the 90s. In the front, the apron of the Priora has been extremely widened and fitted with a splinter. The highlight, of course, are the screwed-on fender flares at the front and rear, which make the WTCC style possible.

In the area at the back you even take a large part of the doors and the apron has also been modified accordingly at the rear. The rear view also shows a large ducktail spoiler lip and there are two striking air baffles on the rear apron. The Priora also received a pneumatic chassis that had to be manufactured especially for this vehicle, as well as a wheel set with a clear drop center and 255/40/17 ADVAN Semislick including 30 mm track plates. However, we do not know what has happened under the hood. The same applies to changes in the interior. We can only hope that the side pipe sports exhaust system has been coupled to at least a 250 HP unit. Then the conversion would even make sense. However, we find the alleged 10.000000 Russian rubles (a good € 143.000) invested in the Priora completely senseless. For what?
