2023 Toyota GR Corolla as a limited Morizo ​​Edition!

Toyota's entry into the highly competitive hot hatch market is with the Toyota GR Corolla definitely succeeded. And now you lay with the Morizo ​​edition after. Among other things, it promises more performance. Morizo ​​upgrades include a shorter one Gear ratio, an even stiffer one Chassis, overworked shock absorber and more torque. However, it should only 200 vehicles as Edition models, all of which will be built by the Gazoo Racing GR Factory as a 2023 model year. The package is inspired by GR Master Driver and Toyota President Akio Toyoda, who wanted tighter handling and a little more power. Based on the Core and Circuit Edition variants of the GR Corolla, the all-wheel-drive Morizo ​​also has the well-known ones 300 PS by the 1,6-liter three-cylinder turbo engine, but the torque increases 400 NM on. That is an increase of at least 30 NM at approx. 3.250 to 4.600 rpm.

Visually, the Morizo ​​Edition has the well-known aggressive look, with the large radiator grille, additional ventilation openings for the brake system and air openings in the hood. Unlike the normal GR Corolla, the limited Morizo ​​Edition shines but not the high roof spoiler admit. At least it is not installed in the pictures. The Morizo ​​stands up, by the way Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires on 18" forged wheels and the stiffer chassis with monotube shock absorbers, in combination with two additional Striving on the vehicle floor and one Domstrebe at the rear for even more rigidity.

Inside is the two-seater special edition with red and black Ultrasuede sport seats equipped, with strong lateral support and openings for the racing harnesses. The cabin also has two Striving for extra support and the missing rear seat makes room for four trackday wheels. The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla Morizo ​​Edition will be available next year, with pricing only announced shortly before the release date.
