We present the first VW Scirocco GT24 full carbon project Converted R Kit from the tuner Progressive SR from Asia. The guys grabbed a facelift VW Scirocco and converted it to the “R” (2.0-liter TSI CDL, 280 PS & 350 Nm). In addition, you equipped the Wolfsburg with what feels like tons of carbon. The result is a particularly aggressive appearance which, especially in combination with an increase in performance, a new wheel set and lowering, has its right to exist. But let's start with the carbon body kit. The R-Line front bumper got a noticeable spoiler lip which, like the rest of the accessories, is set off in color with a red stripe and, in combination with the side-mounted canards (canyons), ensures significantly more aggressiveness.
Of course, the carbon bonnet with its large air openings and the new fenders including gills are also striking. These components are made of eye-catching carbon fiber and are therefore particularly striking. The side section is underlined by subtle approaches for the side skirts and mirror caps made of carbon and with a lot of changes it continues at the rear. Here you give the Wolfsburg an aggressive rear diffuser and complement the sporty appearance with a large roof spoiler. But all of this would only be worth half as much if a new set of wheels were not installed. Here it was decided to use VM-R Wheels (VMR wheels) Alloy Wheels of the type V710 in the format 19 inch sit perfectly in the wheel well and look visually excellent with their black paint.
And as already mentioned, the 2.0-liter TSI engine has also helped to improve performance, but as with the lowering, we are not aware of any details. We only know that a unitronic chiptuning software and a Forge air filter kit are installed and thus the performance should certainly be significantly higher. The presentation vehicle is rounded off by small details such as the black taillights, the subtle headlight covers or the red air inlets. Of course, if we get more details about the changes, there is, as always, an update for this report.
