Do you still have the violent one? 6er with wide body kit PD6XX by Prior Design in mind the guys from M&D Exclusive Cardesign Have presented in 2014? Just such a project has now been set up again and again the basis is an F13 6 Series 650i. And again it is probably only the connoisseurs who can make a difference to the M6. The 6 Series, which was originally painted Melbourne red metallic, was given a complete paint job in the more subtle Nardo gray, which harmonises well with many black accents. The extensive body kit transforms the delicate and elegant body of the F13 into a brutal widebody monster in XXL format.
The PD6XX kit from Prior Design includes a new bumper with spoiler lip and flaps at the front, matching side skirts with attachments, a striking bonnet, a ducktail-style rear spoiler, the eye-catching extensions for all four fenders and, of course, a rear apron including a diffuser. And in the style of the M6, the front fenders come with gills and also with inserts that imitate an air outlet. And of course the enlarged wheel arches also need a wheel / tire combination that is appropriate to their standing. M&D has installed a set of artFORM AF-401 aluminum rims in 21 inches which, with their glossy black finish, go perfectly with the rest. The exact dimensions on the front axle are 9 × 21 inches and the rear axle got state 10,5 × 21.
The multi-spoke wheel set is fitted with Michelin tires in the format 255/30 and 295/25. Thanks to a subtle H&R lowering (sport springs) by approx. 30 millimeters on the front axle and a good 20 millimeters at the rear, the new setup of the chassis is rounded off. Smaller details such as the M6 exterior mirrors or the black kidneys from the M-Performance program are of course just as important as a robust soundscape. New custom-made stainless steel rear silencers with 90-millimeter tailpipes and a black-chrome finish ensure that the V8 engine, which continues to be standard, finally sounds appropriately.
The project is completed with a red painted brake system including subtle M logos and small applications in the form of a steering wheel clasp of the M6 and a full LED speedometer in the interior. We don't have any more details about the 650i from M&D at the moment. If we receive information about changes that have not been made before us, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
