However, if this wheel / tire combination is not listed in the vehicle documents and has not been approved by the manufacturer for the respective type, then you have to contact an official service or an officially recognized test center to determine whether the desired combination can be driven.
Anyone who drives with a wheel-tire combination that has not been approved can run into serious problems. A wheel-tire combination for the vehicle is not released, is a serious deficiency at the main inspection. The operating license can even be withdrawn. It can also be that the speedometer outputs a completely wrong value and that you are traveling far too fast or too slowly. The wrong wheel-tire combination can also cause problems from a technical point of view. Differentials & Co. can be damaged.
