1979 MGB GT “garbage container” as a self-built classic with V6 power!

From recycled shoe soles to old jeans, Michael Wallhead's "B-East", a unique 1979 MGB GT, is anything but your average classic. We see a car that literally comes out of one Hodgepodge of parts was screwed together. It's not just about bringing something old back to life, but about making it much cooler and also Together. Let's start with the heart of B-East, the 3,0 liter Jaguar AJV6 engine. Originally, the '79 MGB GT had the option of leaving the factory with either an in-line six-cylinder or a V8. But Wallhead, the master behind the artwork, wanted more. He wanted something unique, and that's exactly what he created.

Now, how do you integrate such a big Jag engine into such a compact car? With parts from automotive history! The propeller shaft? It comes from one Range Rover. axles? Of a Reliant Scimitar. And that's not all! The Engine throttle valves were by one Triumph motorcycle accepted. But the bizarre surprises don't stop there. The MGB B-East even has one Bremsanlage of a Nissan Silvia S14. And the interior? Just breathtaking. The Seats are made from old jeans, while the Glove compartment made from recycled license plates. You have to come up with such an idea first! Wallhead's vision and craftsmanship took over eight years to achieve this perfection. The result? An oldi that is in 4,2 seconds from 0 to 100 km / h shoots.

And as if that wasn't enough, in May 2023 Wallhead set the Guinness World Record for the fastest dumpster on that of one Suzuki engine is driven. The work of art therefore deserves to be represented by the United Kingdom in the semi-finals of the Hot Wheels Legends Tour on November 2nd. He moved in there. The climax will be reached on November 11th, when the winning car will be... 1:64 Hot Wheels model is recreated. Thanks for the review RADwood UK and an expert jury including automotive journalists Richard Porter, Steve Parrish and Abigayle Andre the MGB B-East has already made history. And it looks like the end of the story hasn't been reached yet!
