1981 Ferrari 400i as a crazy stretch limousine!

As is well known, there are the craziest creations in automotive engineering. It doesn't matter if it's one Fiat 500 with widebody kit and 250 hp Hayabusa engine is, or about one 10 meter long Hummer H2, which was converted into a stretch limo. When it comes to crazy tuning, anything seems possible. The Italian sports car brand Ferrari is not spared either, and so a four-door stretch limousine based on a 1981 Ferrari 400i auctioned. The 400i has less than 15.000 miles (approx. 24.140 km) on the odometer and has now found a new owner who appreciates the benefits of the extraordinary creation. We will now present the unique Ferrari to you in more detail.

Misjudged GT becomes an eye-catcher!

Only die-hard automobile and Ferrari fans should know immediately which model it is 400 acts. The vehicle is a rarity, because the noble, but too conservative and unsportsmanlike-looking four-seater of the brand, with the Cavallino Rampante, could easily pass as a Citroen when you take a quick look at it. From our point of view, it is too classic for a Ferrari and almost conservative. But the tuner thought that you could create a show car out of the most boring Ferrari ever, and began converting the oldi into a stretch limo with a long center section reminiscent of the extended versions of a Lincoln Town Car.

An luxury lounge in the rear, which includes opposed seats that are ideal for conferences and can comfortably accommodate four people, provides the flair of a rolling office. However, the vehicle can also be used as a party mobile use, or as chauffeured limousine for special occasions. Unfortunately, we don't know anything about the length, but the six-meter mark should be long version easily exceed. Otherwise, the car, painted innocent white, is in near-perfect condition, and even the original rims are still on the car.

A V12 naturally aspirated petrol engine with a displacement of 4,8 liters provides propulsion!

When the 400i left the factory, it generated 340 hp and around 400 Newton meters maximum torque. According to our information, the original performance is no longer fully available, but should still be sufficient to be able to move the stretch limo a little faster if necessary. On the other hand, the sound of the engine has not suffered over the years, and even after 40 years it still gives you goosebumps when starting and accelerating. Unfortunately, we don't know anything about the driving performance either, but it should be significantly weaker than that of the production vehicle.

Our conclusion on the unique Ferrari:

Such a total conversion to a stretch limo is ideal for representative purposes! Which car fan doesn't dream of being picked up with such a vehicle on his birthday and having a proper celebration in the interior?!
