After the Japanese tuner 3D design As one of the first ever in the spring of 2016, a discreet body kit for the one that was freshly launched at the time BMW 7er G11 / G12 presented it was clear that the lifted variant with the controversial giant kidneys will sooner or later be equipped with the components of 3D Design. And that is exactly what has happened now and this snow-white BMW G11 7er LCI 740i shows us the very successful result. However, the basis for the aerodynamic components is the M-Sport package (also applies to the 7 long version G12 LCI) which is optionally offered by BMW. As far as we know, there are currently no body accessories for vehicles without the M-Sport package. The factory M front apron with the large air inlets on the right and left receives a filigree spoiler and makes the front appear even more aggressive and bulky.
Front spoiler, diffuser, spoiler lip
At the same time, it takes the 7-leg LCI's leg legs from the factory. And as with the Pre-LCI, the side section of the lifted model is left in series condition and spares side sills or so-called sill swords as an additional approach. There was an upgrade for the rear. In fact, the factory-made rear apron is expanded with a diffuser attachment painted in the vehicle color, but we are not really sure whether it will fit the elegant rear of the facelift. In the end, of course, it's a matter of taste and on a black vehicle, the approach may seem less noticeable. On the other hand, we like the small spoiler lip on the tailgate much better, which could also come from BMW accessories and can also be installed on vehicles without an M-Sport package.
Carbon shift paddles and aluminum pedals
And also for the cabin of the G11 / G12 facelift you have a few subtle changes ready. For example, the exhibition vehicle was equipped with noble carbon shift paddles and the chic aluminum pedals come from the Japanese tuner. In line with the understatement of the 7-series LCI, the 3D design components are also very delicate and therefore fit harmoniously in and on the large Munich.
