The heart of it all? A Eaton TVS2300 compressor with air-water cooling system. Best of all, you don't need to make any other hardware modifications to the 5,2-litre V10, and the mods are even fully downgradable. The result is a real power boost: 830 hp and a torque of almost 850 Nm. And for the bargain hunters among us, there is also a slightly milder version – a 800 hp kit, which comes with a price tag of $31.995. Probably the 830 hp kit will cost a little more, but VF Engineering promises "reliable and superior horsepower without compromise".

Unfortunately, the tuner has so far withheld details regarding the improvements in the 0-100 km/h times and the top speed. The compressor that VF Engineering uses is a sixth generation Roots blower, specifically the mentioned TVS2300. This one is on one water-cooled cast manifold connected, supported by a standalone Water tank and independent Heat-exchanger for additional cooling efficiency. The boost pressure is according to VF rinse and about the entire speed range constant throughout. And if that's not enough, VF Engineering can also give the R8 a unique look.
