CN Racing Chevrolet Camaro 6.2 V8 SS: More than a muscle car!

Built in 2017, this Chevrolet Camaro 6.2 V8 SS is a far cry from what we expect from the classic notion of a muscle car. This tuned EU model has been modified down to the last detail and looks more like a supercar than a traditional Camaro. Even at first glance, it's clear that the Chevy isn't just your average muscle car. The Front was taken over by the ZL1, come to that Street Scene side skirts and -Rear fins. The modified one Rear diffuser, of rear wing and the black ones tail lights as well as the third Brake light from the ZL1 1LE ensure an aggressive and sporty look.

And under the hood has the drilled 6,85-liter engine V8, which originally contained 6,2 liters, plenty of steam. The engine performs well thanks to numerous upgrades, including a 4,0 crankshaft, forged pistons and connecting rods, a 102 mm throttle body and Comp Cams camshafts with CN Racing profile 648 PS and 743 Nm torque. It also has a CN Racing stainless steel exhaust system with valve control and CN Racing map optimization.

Drive train and chassis: driving pleasure in perfection

With a stiffened differential, the Camaro SS gets first-class traction, which is further improved by the KW Variant 3 coilover suspension and the special anti-roll bars. There is also a GM Performance strut brace at the front and spherical uniball joints at the front and rear and CN Racing aluminum axle body bushings. Reinforced and adjustable CN Racing tension struts, in combination with the changes mentioned, ensure even more driving pleasure. And dominate the interior Recaro Sportster bucket seats with airbags on CN Racing seat consoles, a Alcantara interior And diverse Carbon accents.

Additional Devices for oil pressure and temperature as well as lambda values underline the sporty character of the vehicle and keep the driver up to date. As the icing on the cake, the Camaro even has one Carbon / ceramic brake system from the Camaro Z28 Gen.5 with 6-piston calipers and 396mm discs at the front and 4-piston calipers and 390mm discs at the rear. Also are beautiful BBS CH-R alloy wheels in 9,5×19 and 10,5×20 inches with Hankook Ventus S1 evo3 tires in 265/40R19 and 305/30R20 format.

Radically tuned and ready for the road

With this Camaro, CN showed that the traditional concept of the muscle car can be reinterpreted. Through the targeted selection of high-performance components and the careful use of the latest technology, a vehicle was created that perfectly masters the transition from a "straight-line" performer to a real all-rounder. From the optimization of the engine to the adaptation of the drive train and chassis to the revision of the interior, the one-off shows that a classic American vehicle can be transformed into a real racer.
