Downforce is an important factor in gaining time on the racetrack. That's why Hennessey put a few extra wings on his new track version of the hypercar F5 Venom. Revolution is the name of the new variant of the 500 km/h athlete based on the Venom F5, which manufacturer Hennessey has optimized for track use. Only 24 copies of the street-legal coupé are to be built. The Revolution appears on the outside with new, modified aerodynamic components and the air intake scoop on the roof (leads air to the engine in the rear), the larger front splitter, an even more striking rear diffuser and a larger and at the same time slightly higher rear wing are striking. The latter generate vacuum under the car and thus downforce. And the rear wing should even provide around 750 kilograms of downforce at 400 km/h.
the Hennessey F5 Venom Revolution
Top speed 500 km/h, 0 to 100 km/h in 2,6 seconds, 200 km/h in 4,7 seconds, 15,5 seconds to 400 km/h, 1,4 tons curb weight, interior with leather seats and carbon trim
Inside, it remains in the sporty two-seater configuration with lots of visible carbon, leather and two XXL displays. And the performance of the double-charged 6,6-liter V8 petrol engine with an insane 1.355 kW/1.842 hp and 1.622 Newton meters of torque, which is sent to the rear axle via an automated seven-speed manual transmission, is also unchanged. Selected customers can buy the Revolution at a unit price of around three million euros. If we get more information, there will of course be an update for this report.
