Stellantis launched the Ram TRX Lunar Edition in May 2023, a limited edition variant of the acclaimed Ram 1500 pickup truck available in both TRX and Rebel trims. The edition joins the range of exclusive special models such as the eye-catching ones Havoc version. Technically, both the TRX with a 6,2-liter supercharged V8 that delivers 712 hp and 881 Newton meters of torque and the Ram 1500 Rebel with a 5,7-liter eTorque Hemi remain unchanged. However, to get the exclusive Lunar look, the Level 2 equipment package is required, which offers a Harman/Kardon sound system, various cameras and ventilated leather seats for an additional cost of $8.985.

There is also an exclusive Ceramic Gray paintwork, 18-inch bead-lock rims and a double-glazed panoramic roof. And now there is also a Hennessey upgrade available upon request! And when the experts at Hennessey Performance Engineering have a hand in it, there is usually significantly more performance. Of course that is also the case here. The one mentioned 712 hp 6,2-liter supercharged V8 was enriched by the Texas tuning specialists from Hennessey with the so-called “Mammoth 1000 Upgrade”. This turns the TRX into an off-road rocket. The Hennessey Mammoth 1000 RAM TRX Edition from the pictures shines exclusive Ceramic Grey and with black accents and has a leather interior in black and Alcantara.

And the highlight of the Hennessey upgrade is the V1.000 tuned to 8 hp, which is now roaring under the hood. But that's not all, the upgrade package also includes one special off-road equipment. Aggressive front and rear aprons made of metal (front with ram bar), integrated Off-road LED lights, a complete Landing Gear Lift Kit and the striking in-house ten-spoke rims from Hennessey can also be seen. The latter are covered with 37 inches (0,94 m) Off-road tires and they round off the package impressively. We are excited to see whether Hennessey will host another drag race at the Pennzoil Proving Grounds and find a worthy opponent for them Mammoth 1000 TRX Lunar Edition place.
