1959 Pontiac Bonneville Restomod in Porsche blue!

On the auction platform Barrett-Jackson is currently a significantly modified Pontiac Bonneville Coupe from 1959 in the striking Porsche Riviera Blue auctioned. The auction "without starting bid"Is scheduled for January 27-30 in Scottsdale, Arizona. According to Barrett-Jackson, the vehicle was from Airpark Motorsports in Scottsdale completely restauriert, whereby it took more than two years to complete the single piece. Since then, the Bonneville has been practically new and looks even better than when it was delivered at the end of the XNUMXs. The old original chassis of the Pontiac Bonneville was replaced by a Type Morrison chassis with Rack and pinion power steering replaced and the classic also got an ultra-modern one Wilwood disc brake system donated. There is also a built-in 9-inch rear differential and there was one coilover all around.

The team from Airpark Motorsports gorgeous American Racing alloy wheels with new BFGoodrich Rivel S tires installed and the optical highlight is the paintwork already mentioned in the Riviera Blue from the Porsche shelf. The new vinyl dress is complemented by a lot Chrome parts inside and outside and the typical Chrome lettering. And of course that too Cabin completely new.

You can see a light brown one Leather interior with four individual seats (upholstered again) and inconspicuously installed is a tailor-made one Rockford Fosgate sound system. There is also a modern one Vintage Air Climate Control, there was electrical power windows and even the new ones mentioned earlier Seats are electrically adjustable. There is also a lot inside Chromiumwhich dashboard is leather covered, a new one Center console is built in and that too Wood Steering Wheels is in new condition including the steering column.

But as always, the absolute highlight can be found under the hood. A powerful one was installed there 6,2 liter V8 with 495 PSwho at a 4L70E four-speed automatic transmission has been paired. There is not really much to see of the engine, however, as it was built under a custom-built one Airbrush engine cover hidden. But that's not all. It continues with many small details such as the Redline Lumtronix LED headlights. In terms of optics and especially luminosity, they can no longer be compared to the old halogen headlights of the series from over 60 years ago. By the way, the classic was on display at the SEMA Auto Show in 2018.
