Porsche 911 Safari & Unimog U404 recovery vehicle!

Diesen Safari Porsche 911 and we absolutely have to show you the old Unimog U404. The project is the work of American artist Daniel Arsham in collaboration with the sportswear brand Stone island. Let's get to the Porsche first. The basis for the conversion was a 1986 Porsche 911 Turbo (930), which was converted in the same way that Porsche did in 1978 with the legendary 911 for the East African safari at the time. The vehicle was raised, there were massive bumper tubes and one Underrun protection front and rear, rugged Strainers and also one additional lighting with special covers on the hood is not missing. But it was particularly important Off-road tires all around, so that there is no lack of traction off the beaten track. In addition, the body is in Painted Drab Green and also one Roof rack is not missing from the XNUMX.

Cotton moleskin interior

And since Stone Island is known for high-quality materials in the outdoor clothing industry, of course it had to show it more or less. And for that you just use the Cabin. The company equipped the interior of the XNUMX with a tailor-made Cotton moleskin interior and dyed and processed the fabric in such a way that it ended up showing a worn look. For this are in the seat inserts and in the Door panels see unique camouflage components. Those are still in the headrests Logos integrated by Arsham Studio and Stone Island. But that's not all. As already mentioned, the XNUMX is just one of them two vehiclesthat arose as part of the collaboration. Arsham and Stone Island have added to the 911 Safari Unimog U404 recovery vehicle put to the side.

Retro Moleskin Overalls & Co.

The Unimog also got matching ones Rally improvements and in terms of materials, choices included Stone Island's Tela Stella fabric in Drab Green, which load area of the truck covered and also here is a Moleskin interior installed. And matching the two vehicles, Stone Island also created a limited edition of Retro moleskin overalls in combination with custom made shirts and jackets and Tela Stella tote bags hung up. However, the collection is not available in stores, but only for friends and family of the company. The two vehicles and the collection can be seen at the La Brea Stone Island store in Los Angeles from March 19-20.
