2024 Toyota Corolla as elegant Nightshade Edition!

For the 2024 model year, Toyota will bring back the popular Nightshade Edition for the Corolla after not being available this year. The trim level is offered for the Corolla sedan, hatchback and hybrid. The Nightshade package emphasizes the sporty character of the Corolla and is based on the SE equipment line. It features bronze 18-inch rims, black Toyota logos and a gloss black sports grille. The side mirrors, rear emblems, shark fin antenna, diffuser and rear wing are also black, while the rear of the sedan gets a new spoiler. The Nightshade Edition is available in Midnight Black Metallic, Classic Silver Metallic and Ice Cap.

There are even two-tone options available for the hatchback, such as Windchill Pearl with a black roof, Classic Silver with a black roof, or Midnight Black Metallic. Standard equipment for the Nightshade Edition includes sport seats with cloth upholstery, an eight-inch touchscreen display, a 4,2-inch instrument display and the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 system. In addition, the sound system can be upgraded with a JBL audio package. And the Nightshade package can also be chosen in conjunction with the SE Premium equipment, which brings a blind spot assistant, a cross-traffic assistant, a wireless Qi charging station and an electric sunroof. The Corolla Hybrid is powered by a 1,8-liter four-cylinder and two electric motors.

Hatchback and sedan, on the other hand, are powered by a 2,0-liter four-cylinder with 171 hp. However, the prices for the 2024 Corolla model series are not yet known. The 2023 Corolla Sedan LE starts at $22.645, while the Corolla SE starts at $25.093. The Nightshade Edition is expected to be available from Toyota dealerships in the fall and will be slightly more expensive. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
