Volkswagen currently has the in the USA 2023 VW Golf GTI MK8 as 40th Anniversary Edition Presented specifically for North America with one on only 1.500 copies limited series to be built. The edition is available in the colours Urano Grey, Tornado Red, Opal White Pearl and in Pomelo Yellow Metallic. All vehicles come with a black finish roof as well as with shiny black Mirror covers fitted. There is one for that "40 years" emblem on the radiator grille and a corresponding one Lettering above the side skirts. Next replaced one illuminated grille the classic red GTI stripes. The edition stands up 19-inch wheels, the ones from GTI Club Sport 45 come with red stripes on the edge and are equipped with 235/35 summer tires.

Im Interior gets the edition Scalepaper plaid cloth seats and a golf ball shaped one shift knob, if ordered as switch version. Alternatively, the well-known Seven-speed DSG installed. Next there is one "40" clasp at the six o'clock position of the steering wheel as a reference to the anniversary edition. Incidentally, the 2023 Golf GTI as the 40th Anniversary Edition relies on the well-known GTI engine for the drive. That means the 2,0-liter in-line four-cylinder with turbocharger also performs here 245 PS & 370 NM torque. The 40 Golf GTI 2023th Anniversary Edition will go on sale mid-model year and will have an MSRP starting at $33.055 for the manual gearbox and $33.855 for the version with DSG. And as far as we know, the 40th Anniversary Edition pack could still be available in Canada.
