ABT Sportsline already presented its first performance upgrade for a plug-in hybrid vehicle last year: The Audi Q5 with the 55 TFSI e quattro with a system output of 367 PS (270 kW) and 500 Nm was strengthened from then on by upgrading the combustion engine impressive 425 hp (313 kW) and 550 Nm. Now the Kempten-based company has adopted another popular and established generation of engines - the 1.4 TSI e. The 1.4 TSI e is used, for example, in the extremely dynamic Cupra Formentor VZ E-Hybrid. In this variant, the Formentor has a system output of 245 PS (180 kW) and 400 Nm.

ABT Power New Generation

With the newly developed ABT Power New Generation performance upgrade, ABT Sportsline enables the Otto engine to be upgraded from 150 PS (110 kW) and 250 Nm to a remarkable 180 PS (132 kW) and 290 Nm. The data sheet now includes a system output of 275 PS (202 kW) and 440 Nm for the Spaniard. Impressive hybrid power, which is also available for the brand brother Seat Leon E-Hybrid 180, Skoda Octavia RS and Golf VIII GTE. Owners of the Audi A3 45 TFSI e also have the option of this upgrade. There is also the 1.4. TSI e basically in various models with a lower system output (204 PS / 150 kW) depending on the electric motor - ABT Sportsline also offers a performance increase for this variant. At the beginning it was mentioned that the 1.4 TSI has a wide range of uses as a hybrid.

Would you like more examples? Skoda Superb iV, VW Passat GTE and Arteon GTE can also benefit from the ABT Power New Generation from the Allgäu in terms of performance. The engineers from Kempten improve the petrol engine in these three cases from 156 HP (115 kW) and 250 Nm to 180 HP (132 kW) and 290 Nm. The system performance increases for the Czech and the two Wolfsburgs from 218 PS (160 kW) and 400 Nm to 234 PS (172 kW) and 440 Nm. As always, the world's largest tuner for vehicles from the VW and Audi group also offers modifications for the look, such as sporty, elegant rims. All vehicle models and possible combinations can be found in the ABT configurator.
