This vehicle is owned by Roni Collin SpeedHooked from Porvoo (Finland) and we got the information and the pictures from Speed Hunters Magazine. The vehicle is one Fiat Abarth 595 Competition, the Roni according to speed Hunters dubbed the "Abarth Cafe Racer". And that's for a very specific reason. Anyone who deals with motorcycle tuning in Cafe racer style knows, who can possibly recognize some similarities in the small Italians. Actually, one would like to think that an Abarth 595 is tuned extensively enough from the factory. Yes, apparently not! Roni bought the vehicle in Sweden and the paintwork in the noble Fiat Rally Beige was already available ex works. In addition, the power dwarf as a Competizione variant has a larger turbocharger and a sports brake system from Brembo.
Abarth Competizione 595
But Roni wanted a lot more! So he installed one bodykit by Cadamuro Design from Italy, which optically directs the 595 towards Abarth 695 Biposto pushes. In a way, the 695 is the street version of the Abarth 695 Assetto Corse Evoluzione racing car. Cadamuro also provided many carbon details (e.g. the complete tailgate) to complete the look.
Under the hood he does 595 Competizione 177 hp from the factory from its 1,4-liter turbo engine, but this example is more powerful. This is made possible by a CadamuroIntercooler, a high-flow inlet and a titanium sports exhaust. According to Roni, the components in combination help the engine to achieve an overall performance of around 250 PS. With a curb weight of just 900 kilograms, this is of course enormous. The additional performance is also underpinned by a fantastic soundscape.
classic OZ Futura alloy wheels
It continues with the new rims. Specifically installed are classic OZ Futuras with brushed 18-inch rim stars. With a 2,5-degree camber on the rear axle, the wheelset fits perfectly into the rear wheel arches. And so that everything looks as tight as it does in the pictures, the chassis must of course also be changed.
A specially made one is installed Smart Air suspension, which is controlled via the buttons on the steering wheel. The rest of the buttons on the steering wheel control the custom-made headlights. Incidentally, the aforementioned steering wheel is a Fiat Ritmo Abarth wooden steering wheel from the 80s. It's paired with a wooden shift knob on a CAE Ultra shifter, which Roni says is derived from a Espresso machine comes.
lots of Alcantara in the interior
The Italian's cabin is extensively lined with Alcantara and contains tons of carbon. The latter shows itself, for example, in the form of carbon seats from Tillet, which weigh only 5 kg each, and the rear bench has been removed directly and even the door panels will soon be made of carbon. Another weight-saving feature are the side windows Lexan with air slots.
And to the Abarth Café Racer with latte macchiato paint, with vintage accessories and the lightweight construction, there is also the fact that Roni usually only takes the vehicle to tuning meetings with a lot of coffee drinking. This is how the café racer circle closes! If we get more information, there will of course be an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply do ours Feed subscribe to.
