Finally it is also available with a V6 petrol engine! The second generation of the Audi SQ5 can now look forward to a turbocharged V6 petrol engine with 354 hp and, despite its curb weight of almost 1,9 tonnes, lifts the Ingolstadt SUV to 5,4 km / h in just 100 seconds. Key data that make a Porsche Macan GTS, BMW X4 M40i or the AMG GLC 43 sit up and take notice. Visually, the SQ5 comes with a 20-inch model and can also be converted to a 21-inch model at the factory. An optional air suspension and dynamic steering that adapts to the speed are further gimmicks that the SQ5 can claim for itself. But is a lot of horsepower alone enough to meet the demands on the sportiness of a "Sports Utility Vehicle"?
The professionals at H&R do not believe this. Not even if the SQ5 is already equipped with a sports suspension and adaptive damper control. And that's exactly why the Sauerlanders now have sport springs with H & R-typical spring characteristics for the SQ5 in their bag. They let the 20-inch wheels sit a good 30–35 millimeters lower in the wheel arch and thus enable a sportier look. The SQ5 not only gains in sporty character, the setup is also visually noticeable. The tuning program is finally rounded off with the well-known “Trak +” wheel spacers, which H&R will soon be offering.
