One thing is a fact: BMW has it X3 M certainly not for Drag races developed. Yet that is exactly what is possible. At least if you help with tuning. And the vehicle from the following video, with the rear lights from the Life Cycle Impulse (LCI), shows this impressively. And of course it's no ordinary version of the high-performance SUV. It's about a Competition model, whose S58-line six-cylinder an insane 800 hp. So around 300 hp more than the series. But the power of the 3,0-liter BiTurbo is enough X3 M Competition out to beat a real Godzilla? We're talking about a Nissan GT-R, whose 3,8-liter V6 with twin turbo delivers 700 hp.
BMW X3 M vs Nissan GT-R
Although that is around 100 hp less, the GT-R is also around 200 kilograms lighter. Both vehicles have all-wheel drive and the power comes to the road via a six-speed dual-clutch automatic in the GT-R and an eight-speed automatic with converter in the X3. One of the vehicles manages the sprint to 100 km/h in 2,94 seconds and the sprint from 100 to 200 in just 6,32 seconds. the quarter mile was completed in just 10,57 seconds. The other vehicle even needed just 2,92 seconds to 100 km/h. The video shows which time belongs to which vehicle.
