We have just discovered a tuned BMW X3 F25 that has long since lost its original 258PS strong 3.0 liter six-cylinder engine and has been replaced by the powerful Dri-Turbo N75S unit from the BMW X5 M50d. The vehicle did not come from a special tuning company (tuner) but from a private tuning screwdriver whose passion & hobby is clearly dedicated to his extremely potent BMW X3 M50d and the topic of "tuning". Of course, with such a vehicle there is usually at least one workshop in the background that made the changes, that's clear! But it is not a standard project that has been given the same accessory manufacturer from the rim to the rear spoiler. In addition, it is not really the rule for the "normal tuner" to completely replace the engine, usually a chip tuning is sufficient and when it comes up a few new turbo's. Not so with this Russian version, which is basically wrong Skoda Yeti with 510 hp remembered from last year. Incidentally, a large number of parts from the BMW shelf were installed in the X3, which come from a BMW X5 F15 donor vehicle, like the transmission or the complete drive train. In addition to the engine swap, of course, the eye-catching camouflage foiling and many other details ensure that in the end a car is in front of us that is considered to be unique and with such individual tuning and extreme power is almost certainly not to be found a second time. Personally, I like these conversions best because with such conversions the owners can let their thoughts run free and often their own work can be found on the body or the interior. We already know a few details about the modifications to the BMW X3 M50d. What we have learned we have listed below for you in a summary.

Ps. If you want to see even more vehicles made from predominantly privately made hand look into ours Selfmade category!
