Alpina Burkard Bovensiepen GmbH + Co. KG was founded on 01. January 1965 founded in Buchloe by Burkard Bovensiepen. The seat of the company is still there today. Already from the beginning, Alpina was in the tuning and motorsport area for BMW active. In 1978 the decision was made to also manufacture normal cars based on BMW AG vehicles. Alpina now employs 250 people and produces around 2700 cars a year. The most important markets besides Germany are the Middle East, Great Britain and Japan. What makes Alpina autotuning special is its modified engine, brakes, chassis changes and interior. The components are now assembled directly in the respective BMW plant. The finished vehicle is then passed on to Alpina for vehicle handover. In motorsport, the company no longer has its own factory team, but there are still some BMW ALPINA B6 GT3s with different teams. Alpina offers an individualized experience based on the elegant and powerful BMW vehicles. There is more about the company
