„Bavarian Econs“ BMW 2002 with electric motor as Econ 2002te!

Have you ever heard of one? electric BMW 2002 heard? The Company Bavarian Econs specializes in converting the classic 2002 into a state-of-the-art electric car. The conversion combines the retro charm of the original with the latest technology. The most recent project, the Econ 2002te, was released last year on the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este presented. The Econ 2002te retains the legendary design of the BMW 2002, but is replaced by a E-Motor fired, the 163 HP/120 kW power and 170 Newtonmeter torque delivers. This allows the oldi to do just that 6,2 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h and a top speed of 169 km/h to reach. The classic is equipped with one 35 kWh battery, which has a range of 200 kilometers possible and in less than an hour with one 50kW charger can be charged.

But the Econ 2002te not only impresses with its performance. He also stands for Sustainability and innovation. Bavarian Econs ensures that the electrical conversion does not destroy the character of the original BMW 2002, but rather improves it further with subtle modifications. The rebuilt 2002 has a lightweight body weighing only 1100 kg and a balanced weight distribution 50/50. He is also with one KW Classic V3 sports suspension equipped, which improves handling and driving comfort compared to the series. And the interior of the car has also been modernized and now enjoys amenities such as digital advertisements, Touchscreen infotainment system and leather seats. By the way, another version of the electric BMW 2002 is the Econ Turboe.

The Econ Turboe is powered by a more powerful engine 250 PS and it has a larger battery 45 kWh capacity. By the way, we find both variants of the Econ electric BMW 2002 extremely impressive and they are a clear example of how classic cars can be revitalized and improved with electric technology.
