The auction house RM Sotheby's has once again an absolute rarity at the start. There you can in the period from 15 to 17. August from the BMW Motorsport Collection by Henry Schmitt to buy an original 1974 BMW 3.5 CSL IMSA (E9). The vehicle was the overall winner of the 12 hour race in the year 1975 in Sebring and was driven by Sam Posey, Brian Redman, Hans Joachim Stuck and Allan Moffat. Further achievements in the IMSA Camel GT season 1975 or in the year 1976 to the World Championship of Makes has the car with the chassis number 2275987 and the engine M49 / 3-18 also show. For the IMSA GT Championship Championship in the year 1975 BMW has built only five copies of the 3.0 CSL, which increases the exclusivity even further.
