Since this year, the seventh generation of the 3er BMW (internal: G20 - Sedan) to buy. The bestseller was officially presented on October 2, 2018 at the Paris Motor Show and the market launch was at the beginning of March last month. Built on the current BMW CLAR platform from the 7 Series (BMW G11) and the Z4, the three-series impresses with its successful appearance which, unlike many other current BMW models, does not require any experiments. And just such a G20 3er (330i - 2,0-liter four-cylinder 258 PS / 400 Nm) is now the Austrian tuner Peicher performance (US Cars PEICHER GmbH) made. The absolute highlight of the modifications is a brutal lowering with Airride air suspension.
FI-R Alloy Wheels in 20 Customs by BBS
Although we already have a G20 KW V3 suspension seen and also Sport springs from H&R are already available, an air suspension is to our knowledge but so far been installed in any G20. The decision was made in favor of a variant from HP Drivetech which, with a VIAIR compressor, Air Lift Performance air tank and an Air Lift Performance 3P control, allows the limousine to descent extremely towards the road. And of course, such a project should not miss a new wheelset. Here nothing came for the tuner into consideration as high-quality forged rims from the house BBS. Specifically, it is the FI-R type 20 inch (9 × 20 and 9,5 × 20 inches) and with a finish in black satin finish the wheel wells fills absolutely perfect fit.
Extreme lowering thanks to Airride air suspension
A look through the spokes of the new Alus also reveals an M-Performance brake system that fits perfectly with the blue painted brake calipers to paint the body. Incidentally, the wheel set is equipped with Falken Tire FK 510 tires all around (245/30R20 und 255/30R20). The Portimao blue painted body comes with many accents in black and the foiling on the sides was implemented by UniteDesigns. The chic taillights in black / red are available for the 3 Series sedan directly from the factory.
