The BMW M5 is 35 years old! Reason enough for M-GmbH to launch the "BMW M5 Edition 35 Years" as an exclusive special model exactly 350 times. The basis for the special model is the 625 PS M5 Competition whose technology is not touched. That is to say, the special model differs only through optical retouching inside and outside. The M5 will be painted in Frozen Dark Gray and a newly designed 20-inch wheel set in Y-spoke design with a graphite gray surface. A look through the spokes reveals the brake calipers painted black when the optional M carbon ceramic brake then turn into gold.

In the interior there is a laser engraving with the lettering "M5 Edition 35 Years 1/350" directly in front of the gear lever and new interior trims in aluminum carbon structure gold and special door sills. The stitching of the full Merino leather interior picks up on the golden accents and makes the interior look particularly sporty. Apparently fewer than 5 vehicles of the BMW "M35 Edition 100 Years" are said to remain in Germany.
