It was recently decided that the BMW 8ER (G15) should become the official successor to the 6ER COUPE (F12). All 6er models like the Coupé (F13), the Gran Coupe (F06) or the elegant Cabriolet (F13) are supposed to be running. Although it should continue to give the 6er series, but with the previous form this has nothing more to do. The 5er GT (F07), which will receive a promotion to the 6er GT (G32), already has a small outlook. The 8er should rather be based on the Mercedes S-Class Coupe (C217) and with high probability there will probably be a convertible version as a counterpart to the S-Class A217 Convertible. This would mean that no open copy of BMW is offered in the upper middle class. Reason enough for us to grab the current BMW 5er (G30) and virtually conjure a convertible on the basis of the recently presented top model F90 M5.
no convertible on 6er basis!
First and foremost, of course, this means that we removed the roof and installed a convertible typical cover behind the headrests of the rear seats. Of course, the rear doors had to disappear and the front ones grew by a few centimeters. And of course, the rest was not allowed to remain in production condition and so got the elegant 600 PS Convertible from us darkened taillights, a set of 21 alloy wheels from ADV.1 Wheels, a Lamborghini brake system with huge perforated brake discs and of course missed a significant lowering. In our opinion, quite an alternative to the 6er convertible and possibly see the Munich so exactly the same.
We have made the following virtual changes:
- Base BMW F90 M5
- Conversion to the convertible
- Roof removed
- Convertible typical cover behind the headrests of the rear seats
- rear doors removed
- front doors enlarged
- darkened taillights,
- 21 inch alloy wheels by ADV.1 Wheels
- Lamborghini brake system
- significant lowering
Now our question to you, what do you think of that? Would you like the M5 F93 as modified by us on the computer or would that be “too much” and yet a number too blatant? In any case, I would be happy to see the car like this or at least something similar on our streets and could imagine that it is quite an eye-catcher. 🙂 Ps.
