After first preview It was then officially announced that Vilner published its Smart Fortwo Brabus Cabriolet with an official press release. This is probably the smallest vehicle that Vilner has ever refined, but at the same time it is also one of the largest projects ever. Vilner claims that even a Mercedes G-Class, which is refined by the Bulgarian tuner, does not get as much carbon donated as the small Smart. Everything that is not covered with carbon, leather or Alcantara can hardly be recognized and it should probably be just a few square centimeters. Even the steering wheel is an absolute highlight and resembles that of a work of art. A perfect blend of design, finish and ergonomics sets it apart.
Perforated leather, green leather accents, Alcantara airbag cover and perfectly processed carbon make the difference to the standard part. It was even ensured that the fabric structure is meticulously aligned at a 45 ° angle and thus fits the rest of the cabin. And “the rest” is also flooded with carbon. The cover of the infotainment screen, the console around the selector lever, the glove compartment trim, the inserts of the door panels and even the door handles and the sides of the dashboard are made of carbon fiber. The A-pillars and the roof lining of the convertible top, on the other hand, are finished with white Alcantara. Of course, the seats have also been completely redesigned and now shine with a combination of black leather and Alcantara. Green inserts and seams and the “B” logo on the headrests are also part of it.
Out of respect for the German tuner, Vilner has deliberately not removed the Brabus logo but only with the addition "Design by Vilner" Mistake. While the dials of the Brabus instrument cluster were originally gray, Vilner decided to change the whole thing to white. This also applies to the tachometer and the stylish clock. A highlight is the fact that everything is now illuminated in green and comes into its own especially at night. Incidentally, the rev counter was given a subtle "Design by Vilner" lettering so that you are always reminded of the creator of the interior. The interior is rounded off by many other green components such as the sun visors or the hand-made floor mats. And the exterior has also clearly been modified and the green C-shaped structural elements on the sides stand out in particular.
The rest of the body is also wrapped in elegant pearl white. The Monoblock VII rims have also been adapted to the green color and the visual appearance is rounded off with a glossy black painted rear diffuser & radiator grille. As already known from other vehicles, Vilner also came with a handcrafted bag. Of course, it is not surprising that this also has carbon elements and Alcantara and the color matching to the vehicle.
