On HGP tracks - JDEngineering 463PS VW Golf 6 R20 2.0 TFSI

Even after a few years, the 755PS VW Golf 6 R from HGP virtually without opponents and still drives pretty much everything that athletes, and sometimes even super athletes, call themselves. Not quite as extreme but still mega potent, the JDEngineering team has given a visually discreetly modified VW Golf 6 R20 2.0 TFSI an increase in performance to a mighty 463PS. When you consider that it's a VW Golf, it's kind of spectacular to see what a compact car is capable of these days. Even crazier is the thought that the HGP Golf is still missing almost 300 hp ... JD achieves the full increase in performance using JD STAGE 4 engine and DSG software chip tuning, a turbocharger upgrade, large injectors, Wagner intercooler, a new fuel pump or an HFI Air intake system made of carbon. The brake system with its red brake calipers also seems to have been revised and the approx. 19-inch alloy wheels are not standard either. Unfortunately, we are not yet aware of any further information on either change. What is certain is that with this inconspicuous 6 series a BMW M5, Mercedes E63 AMG etc. have to be careful not to be dumped. If we get even more information about further modifications made to the VW Golf 2.0TFSI, there is of course, as always, an update for this post. These are the changes to the VW Golf 6 R20 2.0 TFSI:

  • Lowering (sports springs, coil springs, sports suspension, coilover suspension - more information is not available)
  • Alloy wheels (about 19 inches, silver)
  • new brake system with red calipers
  • Performance increase on 463PS & 506NM - (JD STAGE 4 engine and DSG software chip tuning, turbocharger upgrade, large injectors, Wagner intercooler, new fuel pump, Loba HD high pressure pump, HFI Air Intake System)
  • complete sports exhaust system (more information is not available)
