With the current VW Polo GTi, Volkswagen's sports and fun department has made it easy for itself. The 2.0 TSFI turbo four-cylinder is the same as in the Golf GTi, but throttled to "only" 200 hp. Nevertheless, the Polo runs at a top speed of 237 km / h if necessary. Reason enough for the suspension gourmets at H&R to taste the Polo driving characteristics with their coilover suspension even more spicy. The freely adjustable lowering of 35 to 60 millimeters on the front axle and 35-55 millimeters at the rear make the fun bolts not only look more sporty. Thanks to the perfect coordination with the chassis layout and the lowering of the vehicle's center of gravity, the Polo is now proving to be a real cornering talent.
More direct turning and a reduced body roll in fast corners convey kart-like driving fun, also thanks to the slim 1.293 kilograms curb weight. The 320Nm torque of the Polo GTi is also looking forward to more grip on the front axle. The H&R Trak + wheel spacers promise even more individuality for the precise alignment of standard or retrofit wheels on the outer edge of the fender. Of course, the H&R sport springs (item no. 28711-1 / 2, RRP 221 euros), which lower the suspension by 35 millimeters, remain available. All H&R products are 100 percent "Made in Germany" and always have the required parts certificates.
