Mercedes Concept EQT Marco Polo gives a preview of micro campers!

On Friday, December 2, 2022 at 14:00 p.m. (CET), Mercedes-Benz will unveil the EQT Marco Polo concept on the online platform Mercedes me media at https://media.mercedes-benz.com/EQT. The near-series concept vehicle gives a first glimpse of a full-fledged micro camper based on a small van ex works, the premiere of which is expected to follow in the second half of 2023. A first, simple camping solution is already available before that with the Marco Polo module: With the module with bed and kitchen unit that can be flexibly installed and removed, the new EQT, which is also celebrating its premiere, is ready for camping in no time at all.

Concept EQT Marco Polo

With the near-series Concept EQT Marco Polo, Mercedes‑Benz is giving a glimpse of a fully electric small van camper ex works. With the combination of a modern drive concept and an innovative camper interior design, the Concept EQT Marco Polo has the best prerequisites for a successful weekend trip. At the same time, thanks to the option of completely removing the camping elements in just a few simple steps, it is suitable for flexible use in everyday life. The new EQT not only forms the basis for the two camping solutions, but also offers private customers an attractive entry into the all-electric world of the brand with the star. The premium small van combines the variability and high-quality equipment level of the T-Class with the advantages of an all-electric drive for families and people who like to spend their free time.

compact external dimensions and plenty of space

It combines compact external dimensions with plenty of space. Thanks to the protected, center of gravity and space-saving installation of the battery in the underbody, it offers almost the same variability and functionality in the interior as the conventionally powered T-Class. In addition, the privately positioned, fully electric small van based on the T-Class offers, among other things, a low loading sill, practical sliding doors and the typical Mercedes standards of comfort, connectivity, quality and safety.
