We actually know from the tuning luminaries Mike and Jim Ring, known as "Ringbrothers", more classic muscle cars like a converted Ford Mustang, a Camaro or even one 40s Cadillac. A De Tomaso Pantera doesn't really want to fit into the picture. But the boys made just such a Pantera 8 years ago. As always, the vehicle was disassembled except for the miserable body shell and, as always, thousands of working hours went into the project until completion. However, the effort has increased wie immer worth it! The vehicle was created under the project name "ADRNLN" and the brothers at the time thought that if the De Tomaso Pantera were still built today, it would look something like this.

The single piece, completely painted in BASF "Yellow Line", has been visually adapted to the current times and has all-round widened fenders, newly formed side skirts with openings for ventilation of the brakes and the bonnet and bonnet have also been redesigned. Many parts of the components shine in fine carbon fiber and the front apron is even made entirely of carbon, for example. An essential feature of the new front are the special headlights under the chic clear glass cover in the style of the Ferrari F40. A bit unusual for the first moment, but after a short time, no one misses the factory folding headlights. By the way, the rear was clearly oriented towards the LED lights De Tomaso Pantera Si if you ignore the missing rear wing. And at the rear there is also the most important change. Better said in the rear.

LS3-V8 with 6,2 liter displacement

The mid-engine coupé received a Wegner Motorsport LS3-V8 with 6,2 liter displacement from the Corvette, which is powered by an aeromotive fuel pump from a 60 liter tank and sends 608 hp to the rear wheels. The engine shows itself with an intake of Holley, an AFCO aluminum cooler, Spal fans and articulates to the environment via a Flowmaster sports exhaust system with custom manifolds. By the way, shifting is done manually using a ZF five-speed gearbox. And another highlight of conversion are the three-piece and forged HRE S101 alloy wheels from the Series S1. They fill the wheel arches in the front in the format 9 × 19 inches and 275/30 ZR19 tires and on the rear axle there are even huge 12 × 19 inches with 345/30 ZR19 slippers from the manufacturer Nitto. A look through the spokes of the aluminum for the price of a small car reveals a BAER-6S brake system with perforated brake discs and 6-piston calipers that stand out a little from the rest with their red paint.

And clearly the classic is also significantly lowered. A Roadster Shop coilover kit with special wishbones, AFCO dampers and stabilizers made exclusively for this vehicle is used. And the interior is also absolutely unique. Not only in terms of appearance, but also in terms of the technology used. The Ringbrothers installed, for example, a vintage air conditioning system, an Alpine head unit and a sound system with 240 watt loudspeakers including a power amplifier. And then there are the materials used. The Pantera driver enjoys bright, ocher-colored leather all around that also extends over the center console. In contrast, the passenger can enjoy a dark color scheme with lots of Alcantara. Both sit on Recaro sports seats with four-point belts from Crow Enterprizes.

as homage to the owner "Randy Brickle"

Speed, engine speed and all other important information are displayed on Classic Instruments circular instruments and the car is steered with a leather-covered Momo sports steering wheel. The one-off project with the title ADRNLN was created tragically: Mike and Jim got the 71er Pantera in desolate condition after owner Randy Brickle died of cancer, from his wife to build a unique car in memory of the deceased man. That was definitely a success! If we receive timely information about further changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if yours is simply ours Feed subscribe to.
