The ring Brothers not only have the dreamlike 1969er Ford Mustang Mach 1 taken to the SEMA Auto Show! A completely rebuilt 1969 Chevrolet Camaro with the project name “Valkyrja” also made it to Las Vegas. The tuning specialists from Ringbrothers are known for regularly presenting extravagant delicacies for car fans at the SEMA Auto Show Las Vegas. And for SEMA 2019, the brothers Jim and Mike Ring from Spring Green, Wisconsin, brought the 1969 Camaro with them so that they could have more than just one highlight at the big booth. That as Valkyrja The Ringbrothers have extensively rebuilt a well-known model from Chevrolet for an unnamed customer from Belgium - and once again with perfection and the well-known expertise.

Camaro Valkyrjia - 6,8 liters & 890 hp

A LS3 with full 6,8 liters displacement in combination with a 2,9-liter Whipple compressor provides plenty of feed in the Valkyrjia. The LS3 comes from the Wisconsin-based company Markesan, one of the specialists for powerful engines from Wegner Motorsports. However, the aggregate takes with itself only 890 PS even back, Wegner also has 427 cubic inch LSX engines, which deliver a performance far beyond 1.100 horsepower. Only fit the setup in the Camaro, because the associated 4,5-liter Whipple blower is clearly too big. But almost 900 PS should still be enough or what do you think?

Technical highlights for excellent performance

A Tremec six-speed manual transmission is one of the technical delights of the Camaro Valkyrjia, which features a Flowmaster Super 44 exhaust system with a rich sound, who is cruising down the road. For plenty of traction, a significant lowering and extreme cornering stability provides a Detroit Speed suspension, which is of course adjustable in any situation. The BiColor Centerlock-HRE performance alloy wheels with high-end tires bring the unbridled power as well as they can on the asphalt, but you should not forget that the significantly above 1000 NM torque flow only to the rear wheels. It is delayed with a huge BAER sports brake system with perforated brake discs and chic saddles in silver with lettering in red.

Trim and optical innovations

And with CNC technology, some components for the outdoor area were produced, including the beautiful, elegant door handles. These are similar to the 1969 Chevrolet G-Code Camaro, which Mike and Jim Ring had already presented in Jay Leno's garage in 2017. The famous American entertainer and talk show master is a car fanatic and avid collector of extravagant vehicles. And the vehicles from the Ringbrothers inspire Jay over and over again.

But back to Valkyrja. The rear end and the front were made by the Ringbrothers made of carbon fiber, without distorting the characteristic appearance of the Camaro. This also applies to the lid to the trunk and the hood, which were both designed ajar to the racing version. And the roof and the aprons front and back are made entirely of carbon which you can see in many positions. In general, the body has grown slightly wider than the production vehicle. And of course, the interior is in the state of a new car and equipped with countless modern components. Noteworthy is the flattened below HRE performance steering wheel with red 12 clock mark, there were brand new instruments with vintage look and leather-covered sports chair including IMPACT Sport belts, In addition tons of carbon and aluminum and many small details like the Zuziehschlaufen in the doors and even a fully carbon-fiber trunk. The rest is partly a mystery. Actually, the Belgian buyer had even completely banned photos of the interior. But that did not seem to help!

the chic paint comes from Germany

And unmistakably, the 1969er Camaro Valkyrja was not provided with a paint based on the original Camaro colors. Instead of BASF colors was the TOTOPKG Green Glasurit 90 Line for the completely rebuilt body of the Restomod used. For this reason, the Camaro Valkyrjia changed its stand during the SEMA Auto Show, because it was occasionally presented by BASF itself. At the exhibition stands of the Ringbrothers and BASF, however, the opinion of the visitors was undivided. The Tuning Camaro Valkyrjia was not only the best Camaro on the SEMA Las Vegas 2019 but supposedly the best Chevrolet, If we receive timely information on other changes not mentioned before, there is of course as always an update for this report.
