Pull 565 PS to trailer: ECD Defender D110 Crew-Cab

The year is slowly coming to an end and also the team of ECD Automotive Design is in the last legs. As one of the last vehicles from 2019, the English tuner now shows us a completely rebuilt and restored Custom Land Rover Defender 110 Crew-cab with a 565 PS strong 6.2L LS3 V8 from the Corvette. The potent engine was coupled to an 6 automatic transmission and of course the rest of the conversion is in the style of the previous vehicles from ECD Apart from the brake! Because this time the vehicle was developed in cooperation with Race Technologies and equipped with a special Brembo brake. Installed is the so-called Brembo GT brake system. A two-piece variant front and rear with large slotted brake discs. The Brembo GT Performance system packs with stately 6 pistons on the front axle and the rear axle features 4 pistons.

Brembo GT Performance system

In view of the high curb weight, as well as the performance of nearly 600 PS, certainly not a bad decision and an improvement in the Brembo systembrake systems in the vehicles of ECD The rest is then again typical ECD There was an extensive body kit, front with a new apron Underrun protection, Hella additional lights, winch (Warn Industries VR8) and Rammschutz and also the cabin is protected by a specially adapted roll cage. The vehicle was put on 18 inch large Sawtooth Alloy wheels alloy wheels with BF Goodrich T / A all-terrain K02 Off-road tires in 285 / 65R18 format. A full spare wheel and nice details like the new steps, the robust trailer hitch or the headlight grille The changes essentially complete the outside. And inside everything is new!

Recaro Orthoped sport seats front

There were electrically adjustable Recaro Orthoped sports seats in the front, a Momo Prototipo sports steering wheel and the well-known All-American Series round instruments are also installed again. Regarding the acoustics, you can rely on a Sony infotainment system with components from JL Audio, there were amenities such as the ability to charge the smartphone using wireless technology, automatic driving lights control and even a fully-fledged air conditioning system for the rear passengers is now installed. By the way, you can find all details about the conversion under the following video from "Project Yellow Stone“Called Defender. If we receive information on further changes not mentioned before, there will of course be an update for this report.
