With regard to tuning, too, the electric revolution in mobility can hardly be stopped. At the last SEMA in Las Vegas, Ford presented a total of 10 converted vehicles, of which we would like to present three (electric vehicles) to you. They were built by leading tuners in the USA and modified with licensed Ford components. In addition to the three concept cars, there was the Bronco Sport Off-Roading Heritage, the Bronco Extreme Beach/Extreme Sports Support, the Bronco Service Unit Vehicle, a Maverick Street Truck, the F-150 PowerBoost Hybrid Remote Off-Roading, and the Transit Digital Nomad and the Bronco Off-Road Performance. You can find the pictures at the end of the post.

This particular Mustang Mach-E was designed by Tucci Hot Rods (Dom Tucci Design), one of the most prestigious Hot-Rod-Forges of the USA, as well as Kay Automotive Graphics, designed and built. The vehicle is based on a 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT. Due to the widening and the muscular-looking spoiler on the tailgate, the e-mobile gets a much sportier flair than the series model of the electric pony car. The fenders have also been widened and the body kit from the 3D printer, which comes from Tucci, also includes a redesigned spoiler lip on the front bumper.

The restyling package is rounded off with vacuum-formed, transparent wheel covers, custom foiling by Kay Automotive and various smaller components, such as door emblems and a GT logo on the tailgate, which come from Ford Accessories. In addition to a 140-degree dashcam from Ford Accessories, the interior also features two Recaro sports seats, harness belts and specially designed surfaces. The drive still consists of two electric motors, which together generate a system output of 491 hp and a massive 830 Newton meters of maximum torque. Power is transmitted permanently to all four wheels. This means that it accelerates to 100 km/h in under four seconds. That is driving performance that was reserved for super sports cars until just a few years ago.

Ford F-150 Lightning Race Support

Now we come to the second electric Ford concept car at this year's SEMA in Las Vegas. Called the Ford F-150 Lightning Race Support, it was created by the tuning crews at Real Truck and Motor City Solutions. The universal vehicle is equipped with a compressor, a lift kit, an underride guard, a complete tool box and more. It can therefore also be used as an emergency vehicle for the Baja California Rally. The pickup also has a Retrax platform cover with an individually adjustable rail system and a luggage rack.

Added to this are Raptor tires, which ensure that the pilot does not get a flat tire in difficult terrain. This Ford also received a foil from Kay Automotive, which was dated Bronco Desert Racer is inspired. Two electric motors and a powerful 131 kWh battery act as the drive source. The maximum power of the colossus is a whopping 588 PS & 1.051 Newton meters of maximum torque and the power is permanently transmitted to all four wheels.

Ford F-150 Lightning Swiss Army Knife

The last Ford E model that we would like to introduce to you is called the F-150 Lightning Swiss Army Knife. As you can imagine, it's as versatile as a Swiss Army knife. It was by Tjin Edition and the Swedish roof box manufacturer Thule and is based on the top model F-150 Lightning Lariat. This vehicle features a mobile compressor, solar panels, refrigerator and Thule accessories for the roof and bed.

It is also equipped with a bike rack, which is attached to the flatbed and can transport two e-bikes. The interior of the truck is equipped with Recaro seats in the front and back, which gives it a sporty flair. The vehicle, which has the same engine as the F-150 Lightning Race Support, is therefore optimally equipped for all conceivable missions.

Our conclusion on the Ford vehicles at SEMA 2022:

The three completely different concepts and some of the seven other vehicles (see below) prove once again that e-mobility does not have to be monotonous and boring.
