Is a “simple” Porsche 911 Turbo just not enough? Is it too ordinary and somehow "too tame"? For those who thought so in the 80s, the German customizer Gemballa had a converted 911 Turbo with aero kit, new interior and many technical gimmicks as the Gemballa Avalanche. Back then, a vehicle cost around $ 700.000 and also enjoyed an RUF performance increase to at least 375 hp. In addition, one knew to own a Gemballa means to have a tuned Porsche that was actually built by one of the most famous German specialists for vehicles from Zuffenhausen. The current vehicle as the “930 Avalanche” is from 1986 and only 15 times in total. The XNUMX impresses with a completely modified front with pop-up headlights and, of course, the powerful widebody kit with large lateral "ribs".
In addition a large rear wing with the inscription "avalanche“And a complete paint job in pearlescent white. And another highlight is the 17 inch HRE-Performance Wheels wheelset that fills the fat wheel arches. The interior, on the other hand, is less spectacular. There are black leather sport seats, an Alpine audio system with amplifier and a Cobra alarm system as well as a few other details. The highlight, however, is the already mentioned engine. Thanks to RUF, the six-cylinder (RUF-903-5-2-087) delivers an impressive 375 hp which, in combination with the manual 5-speed gearbox, is sent to the rear wheels.
