A vehicle with 8 cylinders does not automatically have to be a vehicle with one V8 or maybe one In-line eight-cylinder be! I beg your pardon? There are other ways to cram eight cylinders into a tiny two-seater. Namely by four in front and four in the back installed. This vehicle has exactly the Indus. This is definitely something that you don't see every day. It is a Honda CRX Gen 1, which was introduced as a sporty two-seater in 1984 and had a 1,5-liter four-cylinder engine with an output of approx. 75 hp. Apparently not enough for the owner at the time. Because he made a Frankenstein conversion out of it.
Two 1,8 liter engines with automatic transmission!
And it is precisely this conversion that is now for sale. The vehicle was already in 1984 by Car and Driver commissioned and got the help of a replacement CRX drivetrain in the trunk. Racing beat in California carried out the swap and installed a Honda Accord engine. One? No, two! Strictly speaking two 1,8 liter engines with automatic transmission. And both can individually or together be used. In combination, the car then has over 200 hp and the current owner claims that it can reach a maximum of 147 miles per hour (approx. 237 km / h). And the CRX also enters bodykit. But neither that nor that additional advertisements at first glance, the interior suggests another engine. Cool thing!
