Hyundai NPX1: Race-ready Ioniq 5 N with 250 hp more power!

Hyundai is expanding its portfolio with an exciting innovation: the Hyundai NPX1, a race-ready version of the Ioniq 5 N based on the Tokyo Auto Salon 2024 is presented. The powerful one Electric racing cars combines the latest technology with impressive racing characteristics. A look at the technical details of the NPX1 reveals Hyundai's engineering skills. The focus is on performance and aerodynamics. The eye-catching aero kit includes one large rear wing, which makes it clear that this is no ordinary Ioniq 5 N. Similar to the NPX1, the Cup car also has a distinctive body kit and this weighed over 250 kg less than the road model. And another highlight is this adjustable chassis, which allows the ride height to be lowered by approx. 70 mm. The Hyundai NPX1 also stands up 18 inch wheels with slicks the size 280 / 680 R18. Use in motorsport and future plans

Hyundai plans to launch the Ioniq 5 N in South Korea's first Electric car competition to use for a brand. A special feature for the drivers: the N E-Shift function, which simulates gear changes like an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic. The official launch of the Hyundai NPX1 is scheduled for January 12th at the Tokyo Auto Salon. With the vehicle, Hyundai is breaking new ground in the field of electric racing cars and promises an exciting future for motorsport enthusiasts and electric vehicle fans.
