The manufacturer International Harvester has largely been forgotten. Incidentally, the company has been part of the Volkswagen Group since 2021 and it used to be really known because of the Scout, which was the counterpart to the Jeep CJ and the then Ford Bronco. And now it looks like someone had a very special weakness for the brand, because in the following video you can see an extensively converted International Harvester from the 1930s that is converted into a Hot Rod was transformed. A mix of parts from different vehicles is built in. That Cab for example comes from a 1938 International, the radiator grill from a 1946 model and the headlights are from an old Packard. But these are only a few details of the vehicle.
International Harvester Truck as Hot Rod
Also worth mentioning is of course the visible 392 cubic inches (6,4 liters) Hemi V8 enginethat of a large chromed compressors is successfully staged. A hemi engine in one International harvester? Why not! After all, the huge V8 performs well 550 PS and is extremely light. And it gets even more exotic at the rear. There are upwardly relocated exhaust pipes and double tires on both sides. And a look at the loading area reveals a rear end of the NASCAR variant. And the hot rod even has one Airride air suspension installed. A hot rod and a lowrider in the pickup package? Clear! The rest is best seen in the video.
