Jaguar XE 2.0T R-Sport in cool touring car style!

Jaguar fans in this country will now think that it is not appropriate for such an automobile to be tuned! The posh British brand with the cat name isn't usually known for being a regular on the tuning scene. But the cats that once seemed so supple and elegant are increasingly becoming wild cats of prey that stretch out their claws and are often piloted by younger drivers who sharpen the look of their sweethearts. A copy of one Jaguar XE, which is doing its rounds in China and has been heavily modified in terms of optics, we would like to introduce you to today.

At first glance, you will notice that it has been extensively modified. One Carbon bonnet by ASPEC, which has additional lateral vents features, which are kept in the Viper style, draws everyone's attention. A front spoiler made of carbon with side flaps comes from the German tuner Arden, which specializes in the refinement of British automobiles. Furthermore, the Briton impresses with its width side skirts from ASPEC, which are also made of carbon fiber and make the vehicle look wider.

In addition, for sportier handling, a KW-V3 coilover kit installed, and new ones held up, among other things shock absorber from DamperTec on the rear axle. Also were new Rims raised, which have an 18-inch format and come from the OZ company. Its ten-spoke design with a bronze finish is exceptional and gives the noble Brit a good portion of sportiness. The series brake system was also through Stopper replaced by AP Racing with the model name 9660 in order to bring the big cat safely to a standstill in all situations.

The highlight of the conversion, however, is undoubtedly the mighty one rear wing in touring car style, which for many is probably two sizes too big, and downright shocking by Jaguar standards! The Voltex counter should provide plenty of material for discussion, and not without reason. Various Bracing and a powerful one Tailpipe in JDM style are also unusual on the XE and ensure a unique mixture of British noblesse and Asian sportiness!

Interior: Mixture of racing & luxury!

In the cockpit, the wild mix of styles continues mercilessly, because next to the Racing bucket seats from Sparco, which in addition via Harness belts from Takata, the standard infotainment system including elegant-looking automatic rotary controls is still in the vehicle. stylish insoles made of grained ash wood go in symbiosis with a removable OMP sports steering wheel made of Alcantara and the rear seat had to give way to a luggage compartment shelf lined with Alcantara to save weight. Everything looks strange and extraordinary, but the different tuning styles harmonize through in the vehicle.

A 2-liter turbo petrol engine drives the predator!

A 2-liter turbocharged petrol engine acts as the drive source in the big cat 200 PS and 280 Newton meters maximum torque. Equipped in this way, the Briton sprints from 7,1 to 0 km/h in 100 seconds and still reaches a top speed of 231 kilometers per hour. The power is transmitted via a Eight-speed automatic on the rear wheels. This doesn't tear out any trees, but it is also suitable for fast and at the same time comfortable motorway stages.

Our verdict on the Jaguar XE:

Rarely have we seen such a wild jaguar! Congratulations to the tuning crew that got the project off the ground. Everything seems chaotic at first glance, but coherent and harmonious!
