Project Duke - ECD Land Rover Defender D110 LS-V8

This classic Land Rover Defender D110 comes from the company ECD Automotive Design as "Project Duke" and has a thick +400 hp 6,2-liter LS-V8 from the Corvette under the hood. The engine is also linked to a 6-speed automatic and articulates itself appropriately into the environment using the Borla Performance sports exhaust system. To transfer the power, it was decided to use 18-inch Kahn Defend 1983 aluminum rims that were covered with BF Goodrich T / A K02 265 / 65R18 tires and, in combination with an adjustable air suspension, bring the driving comfort of the present to the 1987 classic. And like all ECD vehicles, this one has of course been completely restored and rebuilt. The body was then painted in the elegant Bonatti Gray Metallic and also received matt black accents. And completely new components can also be seen here.

ARB front apron with warning winch

Project Duke - ECD Land Rover Defender D110 LS-V8

For example, the ARB front apron with Warn Industries is worth mentioning winch or the full Roll cage outside with a total of 6 additional LED lights (front and back). Also one rear ladder as well as one swiveling spare wheel carrier has been installed and even the rear apron is a completely new component. Many inconspicuous details such as the ultra-modern headlights with automatic headlight control, the classic rear lights with the latest LED technology or the completely darkened windows as well as the solid running boards round off the visual appearance of the D110 impressively. And the cabin is no less impressive.

Alpine infotainment system & lots of leather

Here are the most important features, for example the Recaro Orthoped seats in the front, the Spinneybeck Volo Black leather interior with white contrast stitching, the Startech LR sports steering wheel or the Classic Series speedometer unit. But there are also many small changes inside, such as the Alpine Infotainment system with Apple Carplay, the JL audio components connected to it, and the indirectly illuminated door openers that make the Defender an absolute one-of-a-kind. Technically invisible modifications such as air conditioning for the rear seats or WLAN compatibility round it off Duke project succeeded. If we receive timely information on further changes not previously mentioned, there is of course an update for this report. It is best to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new, you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy viewing the pictures.
