"Project Galena" - ECD 1993 Land Rover Defender 110

This elegant Land Rover Defender 110 comes from the English company ECD automotive design. And as always, the tuner from Midlands (England) restored the vehicle from the ground up and put it in a condition that, in our opinion, was not even achieved by the car manufacturer in 1993. Once again you have outdone yourself and once again countless hours of work are spent in the so-called "Galena project“Flowed. The body is in the well-known ECD style, which means that everything has been meticulously thought out and implemented again, from new aprons at the front and rear, to a massive frontrunner roof rack to the classic radiator grille.

LED headlight front

There are also technical highlights such as the LED main headlights in black, including LED turn signals at the front, there were daytime running lights in the front apron and also the rear area can be illuminated with two additional LED work spots on request. This time you have the Defender in the so-called Arles Blue wrapped up and the roof in Chawton White discontinued. The wheel arch extensions and some other details are black. And the 18-inch one is particularly striking Kahn Defend 1983 wheelset with coarse-tread BF Goodrich All-Terrain 265 / 65R18 tires. As always, the real highlight is under the hood. From now on, a 400 HP 6.2L-L92-V8 that is coupled to a 6-speed automatic and has a Borla performance Sports exhaust system provides appropriate acoustics.

ECD air suspension & V8 in the Defender

For the chassis, the decision was again made to use the in-house ECD air suspension that the tuner had for the first time "Project Katama" Used at the end of 2018. And of course the cabin is completely new again. There were Puma Classic sports seats in the front and the two other rows of seats, like the rest of the cabin, are wrapped in a beautiful Torino Bark & Caviar Black leather interior. Here, too, there are the countless details such as the Evander Wood sports steering wheel, the Alpine infotainment system with JL audio final stage, air conditioning for the rear seats or the integrated Backup camera which once again ensure absolute everyday suitability and comfort. If we receive information on further changes not mentioned before, there will of course be an update for this report.
