He was still short after Christmas the topic on tuningblog.eu - the virtual one featured Liberty Walk Lexus LC500, And last week, the 2018 TokyoAutoSalon (12, Jan. 2018 - 14, Jan. 2018) actually had the finished copy. A gorgeous Lexus LC500 with widebody kit, beautiful alloy wheels and a brutal lowering. Of course, the main focus was clearly on the distinctive aerodynamic parts and these came as shown in our preview already now unchanged to the Japanese.
At the front, the standard bumper features a subtle Artisan Spirits spoiler lip with small side flaps that nestles snugly against the production bumper with its distinctive radiator grille. Typical Liberty Walk are then the massive fender covers which provide a significant widening of the body and are of course provided with the known exposed glands. They especially miss the front fenders a completely new shape and go over in subtle approaches to the side skirts.
The side skirts also have small flaps in the rear area and in turn lead the lines to the large attachments for the side walls. Also, the rear extensions are provided with exposed fittings and also have a large air intake. And even at the rear, only a little reminiscent of the series because here was a large Ducktail spoiler lip for the boot lid and a striking rear diffuser of equal to a huge sports exhaust system (Fi quad-exit cat-back exhaust system) with blue-fired tailpipes.
But of course, the body kit would not be as effective if not a completely new chassis setup would be installed. Visually particularly striking is the multi-part 5 spoke Forge Tech FTW204s wheelset in 20 inches including ADVAN rubbers (Yokohama Advan Sport 255 / 35R20 & 295 / 30R20) in black / white which has an extremely low bed especially on the rear axle. By the way, there were 326 Power Yaba Kings in identical dimensions on the other side. To ensure that the wheelset is absolutely consistent, and that, except for the last millimeter, it fits in the wheel arch, a clear lowering is also essential. Of course, nothing less than an Airride air suspension comes into question for such an extreme reduction and one has opted for a system from the company Airrex push the LC500 down to the last millimeter towards the road.
The vehicle is rounded off with black taillights as well as some stickers of the involved companies and if we are right this project was developed in cooperation with Artisan spirits, We like the Japanese, especially in this color combination, very good and with great certainty we will soon see some converted LC500. Of course, if we get new pictures or details there will be, as always, an update for this report. It is best to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will get in touch immediately. We wish you a lot of fun watching the pictures.
