Electric wind: The Lotus Emeya 2024 takes on the Taycan!

Lotus, after Electric, picks up speed again and shows off its next electric speedster. With the Emeya Lotus wants to be in the league of powerful electric vehicles like that from next year Porsche Taycan or the Audi E-tron GT play along. The initial spark for this was the luxurious Eletre. Of course, Lotus could have chosen the International Motor Show in Munich, but they wanted to give their latest gem a little more sparkle. Aiming to take on the likes of Porsche, BMW, Audi and Aston Martin in earnest over the next decade, Lotus chose a multi-day event in a parking garage in the heart to launch the stylish four-door Manhattan.

675 kW/905 HP & 985 Nm torque?

And while Lotus is still keeping the exact technical specifications of the latest star a secret, there is much to suggest that the twin engine will take the Emeya in just 2,8 seconds Accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h and speeds of over 250 km / h allows. Similar to the Eletre R, the top version of the Emeya R is said to have an impressive performance of 675 kW/905 hp and 985 Nm torque have. With a good charging performance of 350 kW can also extend the range in just 5 minutes around 150 km increase. And the flat battery pack takes just 20 minutes 102 kWh up to 80% charged.
