With immediate effect, Mercedes-Benz Bank and insurance partner R + V / KRAVAG are offering a new insurance offer especially for electric vans1. When switching to electromobility, customers benefit from modules that are specially adapted to the needs and special features of electric vehicles. With fully comprehensive insurance, these include additional protection for induction charging plates, charging cables and wall charging stations, disposal costs for the battery and compensation for new prices for the vehicle and battery2. The scope of insurance also includes components of classic van insurance, such as the protection of braking, operational and breakage damage as well as superstructures and is neither limited to kilometers nor tied to a specific group of drivers.

Insurance specifically for electric vans

The eVan insurance is currently available for eSprinter, eVito and in the future for the EQV for both private and commercial customers and can be taken out independently when purchasing a vehicle or in combination with a leasing or financing contract. Customers can take out insurance directly from their Mercedes-Benz dealer. A 15 percent discount is granted on the insurance premium when taking out eVan insurance for the duration of the contract.
