The MANHART BC 400: A retro off-roader with a power boost!

In recent years, the Ford Bronco, based on the sixth generation that clearly defines the original Bronco from the '60s, has emerged as the star of the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. For German car lovers there is now quality and bad News: The retro off-road vehicle will also be available in Germany at the end of the year. But in contrast to the American market, where the Raptor 3.0 EcoBoost with over 400 hp is the highlight, there is only that in Germany Bronco 2.7 EcoBoost with 335 PS. To make up for the deficit, the limited MANHART BC 400 developed that over 400 PS brings to the streets. The MANHART BC 400 impressed with a performance of 421 PS and 680 Nm.

The power upgrade was achieved by deploying a Intercooler upgrades by Whipple/Ford Racing, Cold air intakes from aFe and Stainless steel downpipes from MANHART with 400 cell Kats reached. With the MHtronik additional control unit the software was also adapted. The changes are particularly beneficial for customers in the Middle East, as the upgrades are particularly efficient in hot regions. The coarse ones also ensure optimal traction Renegade R7 off-road tires measuring 35×12.5R22LT, mounted on 9,5×22 inch MANHART 12 spoke rims. And another highlight of the BC 400 is that brake upgrade. The standard Bronco has relatively inadequate brakes that are not optimal for the heavy vehicle.

Brake, design and interior updates

Therefore, a more powerful Brembo brakes fitted with 6-piston calipers and 380×34mm discs. Outwardly, the usually black Bronco Badlands, which serves as the base for the BC 400, in a sunny yellow tone painted, including the "Bronco" lettering on the grille and other details. A black one MANHART decor and tinted rear Window complete the exterior. Inside, the BC 400 impresses with a custom-made Alcantara interior in black and yellow, which includes seats, door panels, dashboard and steering wheel.
