You have to come to that first! The luxury car rental CSL Paris becomes a car tuner and converts a current Mercedes-Benz V-Class (W447 MPV) into a Maybach V-Class. At least almost ... Usually the company has less to do with tuning, but that you can also show that you have mastered this with this (unique?) Project. The aim was to visually align the V-Class with the luxury Mercedes-Maybach and that is quite successful as we find. The visual highlight in the front is clearly the huge radiator grille in the typical Maybach style, which, with the vertical chrome-plated struts, is unmistakably similar to the recently revamped version of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.
In addition, there was also the original Maybach emblem on the bonnet that stands upright in the airstream. The side area is adorned with lots of decorative elements and trim strips in shiny chrome and the highlight here are clearly the noble 19 inch multi-spoke rims from the Mercedes S-Class W222 (C217) including matching hub caps. Thanks to the subtle lowering (Details unknown) perfectly in the wheel arch. The exact dimensions are 8,5 × 19 inches ET36 on the front axle and the rear axle got a slightly wider 9,5 × 19 inches with an ET43,5. In addition, the body is embellished with a set of side skirts and an approach for the rear apron, the manufacturer of which we are unfortunately not currently aware of.
The rear apron also has integrated tailpipe trims, but in our opinion, unfortunately, it has little to do with the design of a Maybach. It looks quite different in the interior, which has also been extensively changed. The V-Class has been converted into a luxurious four-seater with tons of Maybach leather and Alcantara, original Maybach individual seats, precious woods and plenty of high-tech such as an integrated bar, LED lights or a huge central LCD screen.
Unfortunately, almost all details of the conversion are unknown, so we can not say if there has been an increase in performance or if it is planned to rebuild more W447. If we receive timely information on other changes not mentioned before, there is of course as always an update for this report.
