Do you already know the history of the Mercedes-Benz of the 117 series, also known as the CLA? The four-door mid-range coupé (C 15) was presented to the public on January 2013, 117 as part of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin. The Europe-wide introduction took place on April 13, 2013, after production had started on January 25, 2013. The CLA is only manufactured at one production site, in Kecskemét in Hungary. The first conceptual study, which at that time was still called “Concept Style Coupé”, was presented at the Beijing Motor Show in April 2012. With the CLA, Mercedes brought the third vehicle onto the market that is based on the modular front-wheel drive architecture (MFA). What you can already guess visually is also confirmed with the CLA, according to the manufacturer it is one of the most streamlined cars in the world. Its official drag coefficient for the CLA 180 BlueEFFICIENCY Edition is just 0,22.
After this, albeit somewhat long, transition, we would now like to come to the current Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG from the Swiss company “Garage Gut AG”. In addition to lowering it using sport springs, the CLA has also received a set of HRE Performance Wheels FF15 alloy rims that sit optimally in the wheel arch with their 19 inch dimensions. The surface of the rims is matt black and looks good with the rest as we think. Apart from an AMG lettering on the lower part of the doors, apparently nothing else has been changed on the CLA so we leave you alone with the pictures at this point. 🙂 But if we do get some information about important changes, there is of course an update for this post.
