Originally intended as an army vehicle G model from Mercedes-Benz has long since become a status symbol for the rich and beautiful. Hardly any celebrity garage can do without the angular veteran from Stuttgart. Of course, this is also known by various tuning companies that regularly launch new projects based on the G-Class present. So too Pit26 Motorsports from the USA, the each G-Class model years 2019 to 2023 into one Pickup rebuild if the customer so desires. We would like to tell you about this today.

It looks crazy, the vehicle. Directly behind the back seat, all converted G-Classes are cut open and then the body is lengthened by 508 mm before being closed again, and with a platform is provided. All conversions are mainly carried out with OEM components, so that an authentic "G-Class feeling" is retained. Pit26 also offers a Lift-Kit Kit which gives the vehicle an additional 229 mm of ground clearance. There is also a completely modified wheel suspension, which includes Bilstein dampers and modified Portal axes attends.

And more options are available. For example, the truck pictured is equipped with a custom front bumper that has an electronic winch ready. The rear is also adorned with a tailor-made bumper and a spare wheel holder including a spare tire. Solvent customers can also enter Rooftent, a Roof rack with KC position lights, a sports exhaust system, electrically extendable running boards and much more at an additional cost. Either 18 or 20-inch aluminum rims are available as a wheel/tire combination. All-terrain tires with a diameter of 38 inches (approx. 1 m) from Toyo are mounted on these. Brake upgrades are also available.

All engine variants can be converted into a pickup!

Whether it's a G400 CDI, a G550 or a G63 AMG is, all vehicles of the current generation of the off-road veteran can be Pit26 Motorsports convert to pickup. In addition, there are also performance increases for an extra charge in order to be able to move the colossus befitting its status.

Remodeling prices start at $385.000. So you have to dig deep into your pocket. For European roads that is Pickup Certainly two sizes too big, but the toy is just right for the USA or the Emirates.
